![]() I think this has something to do with Hollow Knight storing saves differently across different platforms - whereas if you enable the Proton compatibility layer, the game thinks it's running on a Windows machine and stores the saves accordingly (just in Proton's virtual "Windows" file directory). In the drop-down menu I have Proton Experimental selected, but I also tried changing it to the latest stable version and it seemed to still work just fine. If your saves aren't showing up in-game on the Deck (even though it says Steam Cloud is up-to-date), select Hollow Knight in your library, hit the gear icon on the right, go into Properties > Compatibility, and check the box that says "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool". I'm also posting this on the Steam discussion forum. Hey all, I was having some issues getting my PC save to show up on my Steam Deck and I found a fix that seems to have solved the issue, I figured I should put it out there in case other people are having the same trouble. r/demonssouls /r/darksouls /r/darksouls2 /r/darksouls3 /r/bloodborne /r/saltandsanctuary /r/castlevania /r/metroid Ultra-high-resolution Interactive Hallownest Map at with downloads and making-of videos. These sites have cool Hollow Knight content!
